Uplift Lexington County believes that by working together we can achieve amazing things! We want to create an environment between our partners where we can collaborate to change the way we respond in a shared way and lean on each other for support - bolstering the individual strengths of each partner and creating a group approach through Uplift on how to best improve interactions between first responders and individuals experiencing mental health challenges.

Uplift Lexington County’s Mental Health Pop-Up Events create a safe space for anyone in the community to talk about struggles that may take a toll on their current well-being. We offer these in the hopes of reducing stress and providing personalized, confidential, and impactful mental health conversations. If resources are appropriate or needed, the trained professional from Uplift Lexington County can provide a customized resource list - or if someone just needs a listening ear or to vent without judgment, they will do that too!

Come join the Richland Compass program at the "Fun in the Sun" community event where we host a free event with Games, DJ, Food & Fun to bring the community together.  "Fun in the Sun" is a safe space to connect with each other, Serve & Connect, and our partners as we all work together to build a strong community!

Serve & Connect in partnership with Walmart will host a lowcountry Greg’s Groceries Packing Event in Charleston, SC.

This multi-agency event aims at bringing neighboring law enforcement agencies together to pack non-perishable boxes of food called Greg’s Groceries to fight hunger and food insecurity in South Carolina.

It’s time to celebrate our mission and shine the light on the positive change taking place in our community.

Illuminight is our annual mission celebration event. As a community, we come together to support our cause, celebrate our successes, and recognize those who give so much of themselves for the greater good of humanity.

Join us for Lexington’s Bountiful Harvest event, a day of giving and receiving and neighbor helping neighbor! Enjoy a meal with neighbors, learn about local resources, and have fun connecting with community. 250 boxes of Greg’s Groceries will be available while supplies last. The event is hosted by Lexington Police Department in partnership with West Columbia Police Department, Cayce Police Department, Lexington County Sheriffs Department, Uplift Lexington County, Si Se Puede, and Serve & Connect. Thank you to First Community bank for sponsoring the event!

Join us for a day of giving and receiving in Florence as we celebrate Bountiful Harvest! On Tuesday November 15th from 3PM - 6PM, we will join alongside community members, resource providers, and officers from Florence Police Department for a day of thanks. The event, which is sponsored by Duke Energy, will include giveaways of Greg’s Groceries boxes, which are nonperishable food boxes that include items to go along with a Thanksgiving meal. The event will also include music, games, and a meal to share. Resource providers will also be on hand.

Monday (11/7) we will return to North Pointe Estates to continue our discussion of community action & response and prepare for the first NCER-fueled initiative this month! We will also take a look at best practices in prevention and ways to handle Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs-related issues at home, guided by Kimberly Henry-Myers from LRADAC.
